Designers Guild has worked from London since 1970, and colour is the point of it: printed florals, painterly patterns, embroideries and plains, in combinations other houses would not attempt.

We use them where a room can take a proper colour decision, on curtains, a headboard or a small chair, and pair the prints with the house's own plains. Sold by the half metre, and samples are £2.50 so you can see a colour before committing to it.
