Mark Alexander, part of the Romo group, works in natural and textural materials. Its wallcoverings run to grasscloths, woven and paper-backed textures and quiet organic patterns, in a natural, mineral palette.

We use them where a wall should be felt rather than noticed, behind a bed, in a study, or along a landing. Sold by the roll; samples are £2.50 and worth having in the room, as these surfaces change with the light.
