Zimmer+Rohde is a German family house working mainly in weave. The fabrics are structured rather than decorative: plains with something going on in the cloth, textures, and jacquards in a restrained palette that suits rooms where the architecture is doing the talking.

We use them for upholstery and for curtains that need to hang well and hold their shape. Several hundred designs in the range. Sold by the half metre, with £2.50 samples so you can handle the weight before deciding.
