Designs drawn at this scale are unusual now because they are expensive to print and expensive to make up, which is part of why they still look considerable on a window.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe cloth is 82 per cent viscose and 18 per cent linen, 130 centimetres wide, with a 131 centimetre vertical and 130 centimetre horizontal repeat. Abrasion is tested at 20,000 rubs on the Martindale scale. GP \u0026amp; J Baker list it for curtains, loose and fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Three colourways: Document Red\/Green, the original archive colouring; Blue\/Green, the cooler alternative; and Jazz, which is the brightest and needs the plainest room.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCurtains, full length and interlined, are the first use and the best. After that a headboard and bed valance made as a set, or one large armchair in a room where everything else is plain. Keep walls flat, floors plain and every other fabric quiet. It is not a cloth for a small room.
