The colourway is Soft Red, a warm brick tone with brown in it rather than pink, which behaves well against dark timber and looks better by lamplight than most reds manage to.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe would use Hyde on a pair of occasional chairs, on a long window seat cushion, or as curtains in a dining room where you want the walls to feel warmer after dark. It is a good foil for stone, oatmeal and faded blue, and it takes a contrast piping in cream or dark brown well. In a study it makes a quiet alternative to leather on a desk chair.
