It is a damask printed rather than woven, which is the useful thing about it: you get the ogee framework and the foliate fill of a proper damask, but on a supple viscose and linen cloth that gathers softly and does not carry the sheen a woven damask has. The repeat is 67 centimetres vertically by 34.25 horizontally, so the figure is generous without being architectural.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eComposition is 82 per cent viscose and 18 per cent linen, 137 centimetres wide, with a 67 centimetre vertical and 34.25 centimetre horizontal repeat. Rated for curtains, loose and fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Four colourways: Green, Aqua, Marble and Old Red. Marble is the tonal one, a soft grey ground that lets the damask read as texture. Green and Old Red are the traditional choices and the strongest.
