It is a panel rather than a repeating paper: the vertical repeat is 325 centimetres, which is taller than most domestic rooms, so the parkland scene runs from skirting to cornice without coming round again. Hung across a whole wall it behaves like a painted mural, with trees rising through the middle of the room and open ground at the bottom.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe ground is 100 per cent non-woven, printed 70 centimetres wide, with a 325 centimetre vertical repeat. Three colourways: Royal Green, Teal and Antique. Royal Green is the fullest and the closest to a tapestry. Teal is cooler and reads more graphic in daylight. Antique is the faded, sepia option, and it is the one we use where the paper has to sit alongside existing pictures or dark furniture without competing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis belongs on one wall, usually the wall you face as you come into a dining room, a study or a principal bedroom. It also works well up a stairwell where the height is already there to be used. Keep the other three walls in a plain colour taken from the ground of the paper, and hang nothing on the panel itself. Measure the exact wall height and width and take advice on quantities before ordering, because the drops are sequenced and you cannot simply buy an extra roll later. It is paste-the-wall, which helps with lengths this long, but it wants two people and a long table.
