It is listed for curtains, loose and fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Four colourways: Plaster, Blue\/Green, Clementine and Chocolate. Plaster is the one for a room that wants pattern but not colour, Clementine is warm and best in a north-facing room, and Chocolate reads almost as a neutral from a distance.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eWe use it for curtains in a hallway or on a landing, where a large repeat has room to be seen, and for a pair of loose-covered armchairs with a plain linen on the sofa between them. A single rose centred on a cushion is worth the cutting. Keep the second pattern to a stripe or a small check. Sold by the half metre; order a sample to see it in your own light.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eA 71 centimetre repeat means an extra repeat on every curtain drop, and the near-square horizontal repeat means widths must be matched carefully or the rows will step. Ask your maker to centre a rose on the leading edge of each curtain and keep the rows level across the pair.
