Zinc works in a richer, more textural register: metallic and lustre grounds, woven effects, and surfaces built on depth rather than printed pattern.

We use them where a wall should catch the light, behind a bed, in a dining room, or along a hall that gets little daylight. Sold by the roll, and samples are £2.50, worth seeing in place, as a metallic ground reads quite differently on a wall.
