Astragale by Casamance uses the pinnate leaves of milkvetch to create plant silhouettes with an embroidered appearance. The relief recalls Mallorcan stitchwork, set against a linen-effect ground that makes the pattern read as a textile. Its botanical reference comes from astragalus growing across the Balearic Islands.
The finished wallcovering is vinyl with a non-woven backing, supplied in 70 cm wide rolls of 10.05 m. Hang to a straight match, allowing for the 70 cm vertical repeat. Paste goes onto the wall. Astragale is washable and can be removed by dry stripping.
