Auguste translates the geometric language of painter Auguste Herbin into planes of colour and varied texture. Casamance reduces its Modelage wallpanel design to a repeat, retaining the character of gouache worked over modelling paste. A matte canvas-like grain supports the composition, with the marks of serrated tools lending the shapes their distinctive sense of relief.
Supplied as vinyl on a non-woven backing, Auguste measures 70 cm wide and is sold by the 10.05 m roll. Allow for a 90 cm vertical repeat and half-offset match. Paste the wall; the wallpaper is washable and dry strippable.
