Barra by Casamance is a wide satin dim-out fabric with two different faces: one silk-like and the other wool-like. A black weft yarn is woven into the construction to reduce the passage of light. The fabric takes its name from the Hebridean island and is specified for curtains, with either side usable as the face.
The stated composition is polyester, with a usable width of 280 cm and a free match. Barra is sold in 0.5 m units. A delicate wash at 30°C is permitted; do not bleach or tumble dry. Iron at up to 150°C.
