Castalia by Casamance interprets the Egyptian blue lotus through layers of chalk, metallic ink and varnish. These different finishes give the aquatic flower both visual volume and reflected light. The floral subject is linked to the lotus's place in Egyptian ritual, translated here into a repeating wallcovering design.
The non-woven material is supplied in extra-wide 106 cm rolls, each 10.05 m long. Hang with a half-drop match, working to a 32 cm vertical repeat. Apply paste to the wall before placing the lengths. Castalia has a washable surface and can be removed by dry stripping.
