Courtisane is an airy Casamance voile with a geometric pattern. Opaque and transparent areas alternate with matte and lustrous details, using changes in the woven surface to suggest the shifting light seen through foliage.
The useful width is 295 cm, and the fabric is sold in 0.5 m units for sheers. Care instructions: wash on a delicate cycle at 30°C; do not use chlorine bleach; do not tumble dry; iron at a maximum of 150°C; use mild professional dry cleaning.
