Casamance | Padua

Padua by Casamance draws on the ordered leaves of a botanical herbarium. Large leaf shapes are screen-printed on a linen and cotton ground, then embroidered by hand with viscose yarn that resembles raffia. The layered printing and stitching give the foliage a worked surface, retaining the suggestion of specimens arranged across the cloth.

The base is 59% linen and 41% cotton, with viscose embroidery. Padua is 134 cm wide, has a 62 cm vertical repeat and is sold in 0.5 m units for curtains and cushions. Do not wash or tumble dry; gentle professional dry cleaning is specified.
