Besson by Christopher Guy brings an organic, cloud-like outline to a mirror framed in hand carved solid wood. We would use its softer shape to balance the straight edges of a chest, console or fitted cabinet. The frame has movement, but the overall composition remains easy to place within a quieter scheme. We would give the outline enough space to be seen clearly, allowing the surrounding wall to become part of the arrangement.

Three sizes are supplied, as width by depth by height: 83 by 6 by 83 cm, 117 by 7 by 117 cm, and 150 by 8 by 150 cm. The finish is 21st Century Gold Leaf. We would note the changing depth as well as the diameter when selecting a size. Custom sizes and finishes are available on request where the intended position needs a more particular relationship to nearby furniture.

In a bedroom, we would place Besson above a simple chest and pair it with plain curtains and a softly shaped chair. In a sitting room, it could provide a rounded focal point above a sideboard. We would also consider the smaller size for an entrance hall with limited wall space. A quiet woven fabric and a ceramic lamp would give the carved wood a considered setting, without adding another strong outline immediately beside it.

We would mark the complete dimensions on the wall and look at the proposed position from the main doorway before ordering. The reflected view matters, especially where the mirror sits opposite shelving or a busy window arrangement.
