Flora Province takes the flowers out of Scenic Flora and lets them fill the whole wall. Where the scenic version arranges its blooms into a composed view, this one repeats them as an all-over field, a meadow seen from within rather than a garden seen from the terrace. Nothing is framed and nothing recedes; the flowers simply carry on past the edge of the drop.
The flowers are drawn large, at a scale closer to a painted panel than to a printed paper, and the 100 cm repeat on a 0.7 m roll gives them the room they need. It is printed on a non-woven ground, which hangs flat and true and is straightforward to handle on a long drop. The match is half drop, so the blooms stagger between lengths and the field never resolves into ranks. Note the roll is 8 m rather than the usual 10, which is worth allowing for at the quantity stage.
A large-scale floral of this kind needs air around it. Give it a room with height, a principal bedroom, a wide landing or a drawing room, and keep the furnishings low and unpatterned. It also does well in a room used mostly in daylight, where the full tonal range in the petals stays visible.
