The millefleurs meadow of Petite Fleur comes originally from Idyll, a larger garden design built around a fountain; what has been lifted out of it is the flowering ground alone. Each petal was drawn by hand, and the drawing is loose enough that the flowers never fall into a legible grid. At this smaller scale they read as an all-over field.
Linen union is the right cloth for it. The weave is crisp and firm, with enough body to hold a fold and enough weight to take daily use, and the fine print sits cleanly on the surface without the softening a satin would give it. The 98 cm repeat is long, so a curtain drop carries the meadow properly rather than chopping it; on a blind or a loose cover the full pattern is visible at once.
This is the more practical of the two Petite Fleur cloths, and the one to choose where a room is lived in rather than looked at. Curtains, blinds, headboards, cushions and covers on light-use seating all suit it. There is a satin version for rooms that want more sheen, and a wallpaper of the same design. The two cloths coordinate with one another, so a room can carry both.
