de Le Cuona | Mackintosh Cushion with Inserted Fringe – Anthracite

A 35 by 60 cm cushion in Mackintosh Anthracite, a linen finished with a fine metallic foil and then pumice stonewashed, which breaks the foil back into the weave so the sheen reads as part of the cloth rather than as a coating on top of it. The fringe is made by hand from three layers of frayed Cactus yarns and inserted into the seam, so it sits as part of the edge instead of as a trim applied over it. The long, narrow proportion suits the back of an armchair or the centre of a bed. Supplied with an Oeko-Tex certified feather and down pad, in a GOTS certified cotton dust bag with waxed cotton ties.
