Palazzo is a linen jacquard reworking the ogee, the pointed-arch motif that reached Renaissance Italy from Persia and ran through European brocade for centuries. The cloth is stonewashed after weaving, which softens the ground and lifts the pattern into relief, so the design reads as an embossed texture rather than as applied decoration. At 600 g per metre and 20,000 rubs it works for curtains and for occasional upholstery: a bedroom chair, a stool, a headboard. Match the 71 cm vertical and 45 cm horizontal repeat across joined widths, and allow extra if you want the motif centred on a seat back. Five colourways, from the white of Cornice to the deep blue of Midnight.
