Titian is a heavy linen with a small amount of polyamide for strength, woven from contrasting and tonal yarns so that vertical and horizontal markings layer into a surface like weathered fresco plaster. At 820 g per metre and 40,000 rubs it is the most robust cloth in this group, the one to choose for a sofa in daily use, and it has the weight to hang properly as full-length curtains in the same room. The markings are irregular by design, so lay the pieces out before cutting and keep the busier passages off the front of a seat. Four colourways: Chalk, Raw Sienna, Burnt Umber and Indigo.
