Bibury is a small-scale print from GP & J Baker's House Small Prints collection, the House's line of neat, all-over florals sized to work as a supporting cloth rather than a statement one. The repeat is compact, 15 by 35 centimetres, printed on a viscose-linen ground that keeps the colour soft rather than sharp, and at this scale the design reads as an even texture from across a room rather than a print you would read up close.
The cloth is 82 per cent viscose and 18 per cent linen, a blend that favours drape and a gentle sheen in the printed colour.
