Boxwood Trellis combines a clipped, formal trellis with a run of small boxwood-style topiary shapes, so it reads as part geometric and part garden motif rather than sitting cleanly in either camp. At a tight 7 by 52 centimetre repeat it behaves more like a texture than a pattern you would point to, the lattice and the topiary blurring together at a normal viewing distance into a soft, even ground.
The paper is a 100 per cent non-woven base, 52 centimetres wide, with a 7 centimetre vertical and 52 centimetre horizontal repeat. There is one colourway, Blush, a soft, warm pink that keeps the trellis gentle rather than graphic; it suits a room that wants structure on the wall without much contrast, and it wears well as the backdrop to a lot of other colour.
We would hang it in a bedroom or a dressing room, where the small scale and soft colour both reward being seen at close range, and it makes a good lining for the inside of an alcove or a run of cupboard doors. Pair it with a plain linen in blush or a warm cream for curtains and cushions, and let a single stronger accent colour do the rest of the work. Sold by the roll; order a sample before committing to a full room.
The small repeat matches easily and wastes very little paper; keep the trellis lines level as you hang, since any drift is more visible on a tight geometric grid than on a loose print. Roll length is not given on this listing, so check the label before ordering; as a rule of thumb, allow two to three rolls for an average wall, since a repeat this size is an efficient one to cut with little offcut.
