Cherbury is a small sprig print from the Coromandel Small Prints collection, a neat botanical motif set at a compact 15 by 7.5 centimetre repeat. The scale keeps it light and even across a length of cloth, so it works as a gentle, all-over pattern rather than a print that asks to be read motif by motif, and it sits comfortably alongside a bolder companion print such as Poppy Paisley from the same collection.
The cloth is 100 per cent linen, which gives the print a soft, slightly absorbed line typical of Baker's small-scale designs. It is 137 centimetres wide, with a 15 centimetre vertical and 7.5 centimetre horizontal repeat, and no rub count is stated, so we would keep it to curtains and occasional upholstery rather than daily-use seating. Four colourways: Red, Blue, Green and Blush; Blue and Green are the easiest to place against most existing schemes, with Blush and Red as warmer, more decisive choices.
We use it for curtains in a bedroom or a garden-facing room, and it covers a small chair or a window seat cushion well, where the sprig motif can be appreciated close up. Pair Blush with warm timber and brass for a softer look, or Blue and Green with stone and cool metals for something crisper. Sold by the half metre; order a sample to see it in your own light.
The small repeat wastes little fabric; allow around 15 centimetres per drop for matching across widths. Line curtains as standard, and interline for a bright, south-facing room, since printed linen fades faster than a woven yarn-dyed cloth. As no rub count is stated, keep upholstery to lightly used pieces rather than a family sofa.
