This fabric was first created in 1935 by textile artist Joseph M. Doran and has been since artfully reimagined as a stunning embroidered linen. Based on botanical drawings published in Curtis’ ‘Flora Londinensis’ between 1777 and 1798 which recorded plants growing within a ten mile radius of London, this fabric features fern motifs that are beautifully embroidered into a natural linen ground.
