Maismore is an Essential Weaves design in viscose, cotton and polyester with no meaningful repeat, a genuinely plain-reading house cloth rather than a texture with visible structure. It is the sort of fabric that photographs as a flat colour and reads the same way in a room, which makes it useful wherever a scheme needs a dependable, unpatterned ground, and its three colourways move usefully from a warm neutral through to two distinct greens.
Composition is 42 per cent viscose, 33 per cent cotton and 25 per cent polyester. It is 137 centimetres wide, and GP & J Baker specify it for curtains and both loose and fixed upholstery. Three colourways: Ivory, a warm off-white; Teal/Green, a blue-green; and Olive, a muted, earthy green.
We use Maismore on a sofa or dining chairs in Olive or Teal/Green for a room that wants a grounded, earthy colour without pattern, and Ivory where the room wants a genuine neutral. It works equally as curtains in the same tone as the upholstery, and a window seat covered in Olive against a pale wall gives a room a settled, garden-adjacent feel. Pair it with a botanical print or a textured weave in a related colour. Sold by the half metre; order a sample to see it in your own light.
There is no published rub count for Maismore, so we would specify it for lighter upholstery and curtains rather than a heavily used family sofa; ask your supplier for current test data if the piece will see hard daily use. Being a plain, there is no pattern to match; order on drop and width, and line curtains as usual for a good, even fall.
