Ramayana is the printed companion to Ramayana Velvet, the same narrative, scenic design set at an even larger repeat, 124 by 138 centimetres, the full width of the cloth. Printed rather than piled, it reads as a flatter, crisper version of the scene, better suited to a length of curtain than a piece of furniture, and considerably lighter in weight for dressing a generous window.

The cloth is 82 per cent viscose and 18 per cent linen, which lets the print take colour with a soft sheen over a linen-textured ground rather than a flat, matte finish. It is 138 centimetres wide, with a 124 centimetre vertical and 138 centimetre horizontal repeat, and no rub count is stated, so treat it as suited to curtains and occasional rather than daily-use upholstery.
