Tulip & Jasmine Cotton pairs two spring flowers on one stem for GP & J Baker's Originals Brantwood collection, the naturalist archive named for Ruskin's house Brantwood on Coniston Water in the Lake District. The design is printed at an even, moderate scale, 34 by 34.5 centimetres, on a pure cotton ground, so it settles into a considered, all-over pattern rather than asking for a single dominant placement, and the crisp cotton hand suits a print of this density.

The cloth is 100 per cent cotton, 138 centimetres wide, with a 34 centimetre vertical and 34.5 centimetre horizontal repeat, and GP & J Baker tested it to 20,000 Martindale rubs, a figure that suits curtains and occasional-use pieces rather than a daily-use sofa, specifying it for curtains and upholstery. Three colourways: Emerald, Blue and Teal; Emerald is the one we reach for most, a grounded green that carries the naturalist print particularly well in most settings.
