Rumba is a plain chenille jacquard with vertical ribbing, the soft pile gathered into cords that run the length of the cloth. The rib gives the plain its character: light moves along the channels, and the surface reads as quietly striped without any change of colour.
Woven in Italy from viscose with polyester and cotton, it is 145 centimetres wide and a substantial 730gsm. With a rub test result of 20,000 it suits occasional-use upholstery, cushions and curtains, bringing texture wherever a scheme needs quiet depth.
