Arber is an embroidered ogee trellis carrying a chevron pattern within its framework, dressed with delicate flowers and leaves and worked on a pure linen ground. The ogee brings an elegant, arching order to the design, while the stitched planting keeps it soft and decorative.
Embroidered in India at 126 centimetres, the linen carries viscose in the threadwork and weighs 330 grams per square metre. As an embroidered cloth it is best suited to curtains, blinds and cushions, and to headboards and occasional chairs spared daily wear, where the raised stitching and the dry linen ground can both be appreciated.
