Nina Campbell | Aubourn

Aubourn is a paper of bluebells gathered in bunches, depicted in a vintage Gustavian style against a ground drawn as painted wood. The combination is the character of the design, wildflowers treated with Scandinavian restraint, planking rendered in paint, so the wall suggests a boarded room in a country house without a plank in sight.

It is made in the United Kingdom. The painted-wood conceit makes it especially good in rooms that want a modest, rural composure, bedrooms, bathrooms, boot rooms, attic rooms under the eaves, and it needs very little decoration around it, since the panelling effect and the flowers between them furnish the wall by themselves.
