Bagatelle Weave takes Nina Campbell's classic all-over leopard spot and reinterprets it as an upholstery weave, the markings now carried in the structure of the cloth rather than on its surface. Woven, the leopard grows subtler, texture first, animal second.
Woven in Italy from cotton with viscose and polyester at 138 centimetres, it has a firm, close handle and a rub test of 38,000, thoroughly sound for everyday sofas, chairs, stools and ottomans. Leopard behaves as a neutral in practice, sitting as happily under florals as beside plains, and in woven form it does so with even better manners.
