Beatrice is a large-scale scrolling paisley reminiscent of a suzani, the motifs drawn generously so the pattern moves across the cloth in long, unhurried curves. Scale is its character, this is paisley as landscape rather than detail, and it rewards being used where the repeat can be seen whole.

It is printed in the United Kingdom on a cloth of 59 per cent linen and 41 per cent cotton, 140 centimetres wide.
