Belle Ile is a mid-scale stripe composed of diamonds, the geometry stacked so the wall carries both the vertical pull of a stripe and the small repeating sparkle of the diamond forms. It takes its name from the island off the coast of Brittany visited by the artist, in keeping with the collection's French thread.
It is made in the United Kingdom on a 150 gram paper. A diamond stripe of this scale is a natural organiser, halls, studies, bedrooms and sitting rooms all take it well, and it partners florals and scenic papers as easily as it stands alone.
