Benmore depicts Asplenium ferns in watercolour, the fronds drawn as an all-over design so the cloth reads as continuous foliage, layered and unforced. It is named after the fernery at Benmore Botanic Garden, and the watercolour treatment keeps the botany soft, washes and bleeds rather than hard botanical outline.

It is printed in Austria on pure linen, a generous 148 centimetres wide at 340 grams per square metre, with the dry ground that suits a watercolour print.

A Martindale rating of 25,000 rubs makes it usable on domestic chairs, stools and cushions, and it comes into its own as curtains and blinds, where the ferns hang in long, green-house drifts.
