Boulbon builds a chequerboard from subtle ombré colour, then interrupts it with blocks of contrasting weft, the whole resolving into a basket weave that shifts as the light crosses it. It is a geometric that behaves like a texture, its squares blurring softly into one another rather than sitting in hard outline.
Woven in Italy from viscose, linen and polyester at 142 centimetres, it has a dry, structured handle. A rub test of 18,000 covers general domestic use, occasional chairs, ottomans, cushions, alongside curtains and blinds, and the woven pattern gives plain-leaning schemes depth without introducing a motif.
