Bourton Damask is a relaxed damask adapted from an archival block print, so the traditional damask silhouette is there, the mirrored scrolls and the vertical rhythm, but the edges are soft and slightly broken in the way a hand-cut block leaves them. It is a damask without stiffness, and on the wall it reads as a large, quiet texture rather than a formal repeat.

Printed in the United Kingdom on a 52 centimetre wide roll of 9 metres, with a 70 centimetre straight-match repeat that should be allowed for when estimating. It carries the European B-s1,d0 fire classification and the American ASTM E-84 Class A rating. The finish is matt and the print is tonal, one colour on a lighter ground of the same family.

Six colourways: Linen is the neutral and the most useful, a warm stone on ivory that will sit behind almost any furniture; Rose and Yellow are gentle and good for bedrooms; Sage and Aqua are the cooler, garden-like options; Blue is the strongest and the most traditional.
