Nina Campbell | Branklyn

Branklyn is a mid-scale tartan woven in twill, the diagonal weave giving the check the soft, brushed authority tartans are meant to have. It is named after the garden near Perth known for its rhododendrons, and it carries its Scottish reference with ease rather than fancy dress.

It is woven in Italy from viscose and linen with a little polyester, 142 centimetres wide.

A Martindale rating of 28,000 rubs makes it a sound everyday cloth for chairs, ottomans and cushions, and it makes warm, settled curtains for studies, snugs and bedrooms.
