Collioure is an arrangement of hand-painted pots, printed on pure cotton, each vessel drawn with its own character and glaze, lined up with the casual order of a potting shelf or a market stall. It is named after the Mediterranean coastal town in the Pyrenees-Orientales where Matisse often worked, and the design carries that southern ease.
It is printed in Italy on 100 per cent cotton, 140 centimetres wide at 240 grams per square metre.
With an 18,000 rub Martindale rating it suits occasional chairs, cushions and headboards rather than daily sofas, and it is charming as curtains and blinds, in kitchens, garden rooms and breakfast rooms above all.
