Cyrano is a textured chenille plain, the kind of quiet, useful cloth a scheme leans on while the patterns do the talking. The name nods to Edmond Rostand's Cyrano de Bergerac, the most frequently performed play in all of French theatre.

Woven in Italy from a blend of cotton, viscose, linen and polyester, it has genuine substance at 570 grams per square metre, and the chenille yarn gives it a soft, brushed surface that takes light gently rather than reflecting it. The width is 138 centimetres.
