Nina Campbell | Fener Grove

Fener Grove began life as one of Nina Campbell's fabric designs and is here reinterpreted as a wallpaper, printed on natural sisal grasscloth. The grasscloth is what changes everything, the woven sisal ground carries its own irregular horizontal grain, so the printed design sits on a surface with genuine texture, depth and a soft natural sheen.

It is made in the United Kingdom on a substantial 240 gram grasscloth. Sisal papers bring warmth and quiet to a room in a way flat papers cannot, and this one suits studies, dining rooms, bedrooms and halls, anywhere the wall is seen in raking light, which shows the weave at its best. Joins between panels are part of the material's honest character.
