Garadi is a multi-coloured basketweave woven from a variety of textured yarns, the over-and-under structure magnified by the changing surfaces of the threads themselves. It reads as deep texture across a room and as a study in weaving up close.
Woven in Italy at 142 centimetres from a blend of viscose, cotton, polyester and linen, it is a substantial cloth of 580 grams per square metre with a soft, dry handle. A Martindale result of 50,000 rubs makes it well suited to general domestic upholstery — sofas, chairs and stools — as well as cushions and upholstered ottomans.
