Honfleur Check is a woven check of small squares, each bordered by fine accent lines that sharpen the grid and give the cloth a neat, tailored character. Its colourways are drawn to complement the wider collection, so it slips easily into a scheme as the quiet companion to a floral or an embroidery.
Woven in India from a near-even blend of cotton and linen at a generous 148 centimetres, it has the dry, natural handle of both fibres and a settled weight of 300 grams per square metre. With a Martindale result of 27,000 rubs it is best used for curtains, blinds, cushions and occasional chairs rather than everyday seating.
