Hopton is a semi-plain with a textured herringbone structure, the chevron woven small so it registers as grain rather than pattern, a cloth that gives a scheme quiet direction without asking for attention. It is named after Hopton Court near Kidderminster, a late eighteenth-century house attributed to the architect John Nash.
It is woven in Morocco, predominantly cotton with a little viscose and linen, 138 centimetres wide, with a dry, natural hand.
