Nina Campbell | Jinsha

Jinsha is a stripe of freely painted vertical bands, multi-coloured and loose-edged, named after a tributary of the Yangtze river. The brushwork keeps the stripe informal, closer to washes of colour than ruled lines, and its combinations were drawn to co-ordinate easily across Nina Campbell's collections.

It is printed in Austria on 100 per cent cotton, 140 centimetres wide.

A Martindale rating of 21,000 rubs suits it to occasional chairs, stools and cushions, and it makes relaxed, painterly curtains and blinds, particularly in bedrooms, bathrooms and garden rooms.
