Nina Campbell | Kelburn

Kelburn is a small-scale trellis woven in two tones of chenille, the lattice raised softly from the ground so the geometry arrives as texture first. It is the kind of quietly patterned cloth that works everywhere and shouts nowhere.

Woven in Italy from viscose, cotton and polyester at 139 centimetres, it has the warm, cushioned handle chenille brings, with a rub test of 25,000 for everyday domestic use, armchairs, stools, dining seats, cushions, and curtains with body. Small trellises flatter curved and buttoned furniture, and this one bridges plains and larger patterns without competing with either.
