Kershaw Plain is an all-over marbled paper, its surface drawn with the fine veining and drift of hand-marbled papers, in colours composed to complement the panels of Kershaw Marble. Read from a distance it behaves almost as a plain; up close the pattern rewards attention.
Printed in the United Kingdom, it is a useful and quietly decorative paper: an alternative to flat colour where a wall wants depth, and a natural companion where the Kershaw Marble panels are used, running the marbling across a whole room or lining the spaces between. Halls, studies, bathrooms and libraries all suit its bookish, collected character.
