Lochwood is a forest of trees printed in impressionist style on cotton sateen, the trunks and canopies built from loose touches of the brush so the woodland stays atmospheric rather than illustrative. The sateen ground gives the surface a soft, light-catching smoothness that suits the painterly drawing.

It is printed in the United Kingdom on 100 per cent cotton, 140 centimetres wide.

A Martindale rating of 28,000 rubs makes it usable on everyday chairs, stools and cushions, and it is at its best as curtains and blinds, the forest running the full height of the window.
