Loveden weaves a colourful small-scale ornamental trellis with accents of chenille, so the geometry carries a soft, decorative texture rather than a hard line. It is pattern at the scale of detail, read fully only at close quarters, which is exactly where upholstery lives.
Woven in Italy at 138 centimetres from viscose, cotton and linen, it is a deep, weighty cloth at 820 grams per square metre. A rub test of 26,000 suits it to occasional chairs, stools, ottomans and cushions, as well as curtains of real substance.
