Nina Campbell | Muette Braid

Muette Braid is a woven braid from Nina Campbell's trimmings collection, seven centimetres deep, a proper tailored band rather than a fine edging. Braid at this width draws a firm, decorative line wherever it is applied, and gives plain cloths the finished, considered quality that separates dressed rooms from merely furnished ones.

It is made in India from a polyester-led blend with viscose, woven firm so it lies flat and follows a straight run cleanly. It earns its keep along curtain leading edges, the base of pelmets and valances, the lower edge of blinds, and around cushions and upholstered frames.
